VEX GO       2nd & 3rd Grade
Wednesday Evenings.     6:00PM until 7:30PM

This program is recommended for 2nd and 3rd grade students who have finished our Young Engineers program. This takes the student into a robotics platform similar to our elementary/middle school programs. Also available as a half day summer camp.

Young Engineers "Amusement Rides" 2nd & 3rd Grade
Starts March 4, 2024 and ends March 25, 2024.     6:00PM until 7:30PM   FULL

This program is designed for the 2nd - 3rd grade student and runs for four weeks. This LEGO based program teaches gears, pulleys, levers while building fun LEGO projects and getting an introduction to coding. Includes workbook and T shirt. Program is limited to 6 attendees.

Young Engineers "Animal Allies" 2nd & 3rd Grade Starts April 8, 2024 through April 29, 2024. 6:00PM until 7:30PM

This program is designed for the 2nd - 3rd grade student and runs for four weeks. This LEGO based program teaches gears, pulleys, levers while building fun LEGO projects and getting an introduction to coding. Includes workbook and T shirt. Program is limited to 6 attendees.

How Electricity Works 4th, 5th, and 6th grades Starts February 5, 2024 and ends February 26, 2024. 6:00PM until 7:30PM

This program is for 4th to 6th grade child with an interest in electricity. Electricity runs for four weeks. Attendees will learn the basics of electricity including batteries, electric current, light bulbs, motors, switches, and much more while developing their skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. All attendees will receive a certificate of completion and a small gift. Program is capped at 6 attendees with a minimum of 3 needed to run the program. A complete refund will be given if cancelled due to minimum not being met.

Dash Coding 2nd & 3rd grade Starts January 10, 2024 and ends February 28, 2024

This eight week entry level program is ideal for the 2nd & 3rd grade student. This program runs for a total of eight weeks providing the students an opportunity to learn Blockly Coding (developed by Google) as a great alternative to Scratch. Students will work at their own pace and be constantly challenged by one of our teachers. We use the Dash Robot as a tool to see their coding come to life.
